Man Friday/Raise the Titanic (Red Carpet Double Feature) Man Friday/Raise the Titanic (Red Carpet Double Feature)

Reviews

Man Friday/Raise the Titanic (Red Carpet Double Feature) I bought this DVD for only the one movie (Raise the Titanic). It is one of my favorites. I probably won't even watch the other one.

Raise the Titanic movie is disappointing when compared to the Clive Cussler book - which is great - like all Clive Cussler books!

I enjoyed the movei very much . the special effects were done well. The only problem I had was that the film was not in widescreen. I have not watched Man Friday.

Raise the Titanic is based on Clive Cussler's book. Entertaining movie but t could have had more action without compromising the book.

I bought this movie for the Raise The Titanic, I had seen it years ago, and really enjoyed seeing it again. It is a very very good story that combines some foreign intrigue with magnificent music, and of course the Titanic needing to be raised up for the purpose of what was supposedly on it(in this story). It is all very well done, a good story, a great ship, and the wonderful music of John Barry, all this makes a great movie.I have not seen the Man Friday movie, but will eventually.

Reviews

Being a HUGE Matthew McConaughey fan, I was thrilled to find this Collection!!! I was even more delighted when I received & watched this collection. I received it promptly from the seller & it was in EXCELLENT condition!!! What a glorious day I had spending it with Matthew!!!!!! :))))

If you are a Fan of Matthew McConaughey, then this set is for you. Failure to Launch, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and Sahara. Each co-starring with three Beautiful and Talented Actresses, one in each film. Failure to Launch with Sarah Jessica Parker, How to Lose a Guy with Kate Hudson, and Sahara with Penelope Cruz. The supporting casts in all three films is excellent. If you Just want some good fun films and light entertainment...these are perfect.

Average Rating:

Failure to Launch The plot of Failure to Launch is utterly implausible, yet the movie is thoroughly fun. Tripp (laid-back Matthew McConaughey, Sahara, Dazed and Confused) is a 35-year-old man who still lives with his parents (Kathy Bates, Misery, and ex-quarterback Terry Bradshaw)--and they aren't happy about it...

I love this show, My dad and I always tune into the station playing this show, I love how they explore history, my dad got me interested in this, if you want to learn anything about the history of certain ships this is the show to watch. Donna

Shadow Divers: The True Adventure of Two Americans Who Risked Everything to Solve One of the Last Mysteries of World War II Clive Cussler's Sea Hunters-Set 2 is a suspensful lesson about many ships that have made a difference in our history. I had the wonderful feeling with each segment, that I was actually on each voyage. I would recommend this Set to anyone, beginning in Sunken ships, or advanced knowledge. Excellent material.

The Spy (Isaac Bell) The Spy (Isaac Bell)

Reviews

I don't buy paperbacks that cost $15 (actually I don't buy any pleasure-reading books in physical form anymore) and I'm sure not going to pay that amount for no printing, binding, shipping, stocking, etc. I guess I'll look for something else (from another publisher)....

Not a bad book. Not as good as this authors usual offerings but not bad. No where near as exciting as his last Bell novel. I still enjoyed it and would recommend it to any Cussler fan.

My title says it all. I have counterbalanced one idiot who has given the book 1-star without reading it. My stupidity is equally valid IMHO.

The previous "Isaac Bell" stories were excellent. This one seemed forced and didn't flow well. I love Cussler books but I wasn't impressed with this one and wouldn't recommend the book.

Refuse to buy the over-priced Kindle edition. Refuse to buy the book period. Pricing is ridiculous.

Dark Watch (The Oregon Files) Dark Watch (The Oregon Files)

Reviews

Clive Cussler can really spin a great tale. I wouldn't miss any of his books.

Dark Watch - from the Oregon Files series. If Clive Cussler wrote it, it's fabulous! He's NEVER disappointed me! Wish he could live forever!

The third novel in Cussler's Oregon Files series finds Juan Cabrillo and crew attempting to stop piracy on the high seas. However, the pirates aren't the only problem they face: an international conspiracy involving Chinese slave labor is discovered, and Cabrillo's team is the only thing that can stop it. The Oregon Files series is, with each novel, somehow less interesting to me. Dirk Pitt's adventures are great, fun reads but there's an undercurrent of pessimism that marks the Cussler/DuBrul series.

Dark Watch by Clive Cussler was not as interesting as his other works. This abridged audio book was the story of modern day pirates who take not only the cargo of a captured ship but they also take the ship itself. Throw in some international slave traders and you have what seems like two books going at the same time with only minimal interactions. The book would have been better if it focused on one story and then developed it in greater detail. I am still a big fan of Cussler. This one is not his best work.

We found it very enjoyable and entertaining. The plot moves and the action is continuous. The Oregon Files series continues to be great.
